Savy Sells respects the intellectual property rights of others and follows the procedures of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We will remove content on our website, including content posted by third parties, that infringes intellectual property rights. Users who repeatedly infringe may be banned from commenting on or using our site.
Filing a DMCA Notice
If you believe content on our site infringes your intellectual property rights, please email us with the following information:
- Your full name, address, phone number, and electronic or physical signature.
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, and proof that you own the rights or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
- A description of the infringing material and the exact URL where it appears on our site.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner of the rights or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Counter-Notice
If we remove content you posted because of a DMCA claim, you may send us a counter-notice containing:
- Your name, address, phone number, and physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, an appropriate judicial body), and your agreement to accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
Statements You Confirm When Submitting a Notice
By sending us a DMCA notice, you confirm that:
- You have a good faith belief that the content described in your notice violates your rights, or those of the rights owner, and that its use is contrary to law.
- You declare, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is correct and accurate and that you are the owner of the rights described, or the owner’s authorized agent.
Please note that knowingly submitting a false claim can expose you to legal liability.
What Happens Next
After we receive a valid notice, we will review it and may remove or disable access to the content. We may forward your notice, including your contact details, to the person who posted the material. If a valid counter-notice is received, we may restore the content unless the original complainant files a court action.
